[From a 130-stroke golfer to the 110s in 5 months! I finally found the 'real' golf studio!]

I've been going for 5 months now. I had tried various lessons before, and was stuck in a golf rut, but this is where I finally ended up.

The first thing that surprises you when you open the door is the cleanliness and the overwhelmingly spacious area, large enough to even practice approach shots! And I'm doubly surprised to learn that almost everything was handmade by the studio's founder, Coach Moriyama Ren, also known as "Mr. Right Hand."

There are three reasons why I recommend this studio:

① A homey atmosphere that makes you want to say "I'm home"
→ I go 2-3 times a week after work, and this is truly a hidden gem for adults. After a lesson, the fatigue of the day's work mysteriously disappears.

② A master of verbalization! His signature "analogy" is incredibly easy to understand
→ Coach Moriyama is always smiling and teaches using "club movement" as the core. Above all, the way they articulate things is superb; their unique word choices, such as "Club Throwing Championship" and "Poisonous Mushroom Hunting," are so funny they stick in your mind instantly (lol). If you don't understand something, they'll use various tools and patiently work with you until you fully grasp it.
③ The reassurance of knowing that all staff members share the same challenges
→ Not only is Coach Moriyama exceptionally skilled, but the other coaches are also highly qualified, creating an environment where everyone warmly nurtures each student. The studio is attended by a wide range of people, from beginners, women, and young people to quite advanced players. Everyone has different golf concerns, body types, and skill levels, but I'm truly impressed by the depth and breadth of their technical instruction, which "definitely helps people improve" at any stage.

Thanks to them, I, who was struggling with scores around 130 when I first started, have now reached the 110s (114) in my most recent round!

I will continue to attend with the same excitement as coming home. I wholeheartedly recommend this studio to anyone lost in the world of golf!

Rather than rigid, formulaic lessons, the appeal lies in instruction tailored to each individual student, based on the fundamentals of using the equipment.
In particular, you can experience new sensations through a variety of drills, including the "Right Hand Teacher" drill, and consult about various golf theories.
Golf is a sport where it's difficult to play as you intend, but to improve, it's essential to practice in a way that suits you and that you understand.
This instruction provides thorough support for practice tailored to each individual's personality, from beginners to competitive players, men and women, young people to seniors, and differences in physique.

This golf studio also offers yoga to help strengthen your core. Instructor Moriyama and the staff are all very kind and provide thorough instruction.
I highly recommend this golf school!

I've already entered my fourth month of group lessons!

I started as a complete beginner (I'd never even held a club before...), and initially attended a different golf lesson program, where I made my first-ever course debut.

After that, a friend introduced me to Futako Golf Club, and I decided to try a trial lesson.

Coach Moriyama was my instructor, and the first lesson I learned was, surprisingly, hitting a flimsy, square golf bag with a club! (laughs)

But this was incredibly important. For me, who couldn't quite grasp or replicate anything I'd seen in lessons, manuals, or videos of pros and amateurs on YouTube, this was the moment I understood what golf truly is!

Since then, regardless of whether I've had Coach Moriyama, Coach Kawamura, or Coach Suyayama, the information is shared, and the basic goal is always the same: how to use the equipment effectively. They provide personalized lessons based on this shared understanding.

I've even used various tools without clubs, and I've thought, "Wait, is that even relevant?" It's really fun playing games like that and getting tips on how to hit the ball!
Even though it's a group lesson, sometimes when I'm alone I get a full 50 minutes of instruction, which is a real treat.
They also hold lessons at actual golf courses.
My first lesson is in a few days, so I'm really looking forward to it!

I've been attending this club for two and a half months, and this is primarily a group lesson review.

Coaches & Staff
Coach Moriyama, along with the other coaches and staff, are all very young, in their 20s, and very friendly. I'm a man in his 50s, and initially worried about communicating properly, but they warmly welcomed me like family, and I always feel like saying "I'm home" when I enter the facility.

Lessons
The club's greatest selling point is the high level of its coaches. Moriyama, S, and R are all on-point coaches, and they patiently teach me even when I struggle to improve despite their instruction. They also have a variety of golf-related (and non-golf) props, and I always look forward to seeing what props they'll bring out each day. They don't just teach the basics; they use a variety of approaches, including physics, mechanics, data, and gear, so I always discover something new.

Reservations
While it's a common system where you can book another lesson after each one, it's rare to have a reservation. I mainly went on weekday evenings and Saturdays, but I could definitely get a reservation every day. Lessons are limited to a maximum of two people, and often I'd have the coach all to myself.
〇 Facilities
・ Approach Range - The approach range here is fantastic. It's about 12 yards, which is just the right distance for when you miss the green a little. The green (?) is divided into up-grained and down-grained, so you can approach from a slope and get practical practice. You can do things you can't do at a regular driving range. It's my routine to spend about two hours here.
・ Booths - There are three booths: one TrackMan, two Golfzones, and one practice booth. If they're available, you can use them for self-practice. You can use them for 20 minutes to warm up before your lesson and an hour to review afterward.
〇 Round Lessons
Once you become a member, you'll receive round lesson notifications via official LINE. These include lessons on regular courses and short courses. I've never participated, but I'd like to try sometime.
〇 Chat
I'm sure many of you are looking forward to this. After the lesson, most students enjoy a pleasant chat with the coaches and staff before leaving. I sometimes have in-depth discussions about golf, other sports, and hobbies.

Price
It may seem expensive at first glance, but I think it's excellent value for money. In addition to one high-quality lesson per day, I practice on my own for about an hour on weekdays and three hours on weekends. Even during practice, the coach pops in occasionally to offer advice.

All in all, I'd say Futako Golf Club has a 120% satisfaction rating.

I'm a complete beginner at golf 🔰 and joined in December. I didn't even know how to hold a club; I'd only ever seen golf on TV.

My children have grown up and left home, and I wanted to spend my time with my husband, who enjoys golf as a hobby!

That was the only reason I jumped in ⛳️
At first, even hitting the ball was much harder than I expected... I was swinging with brute force, so Mr. Moriyama patiently and diligently taught me the pendulum motion over and over again. Of course, on the days when other instructors teach, they also carefully teach me how to apply force and stretch, especially for women, while looking at my lesson records.

I went for my first round this month, and unlike the flat driving range, it was full of slopes, and I really felt the importance of approach shots and putting.

I'm hooked because I want to hear that sound again when I hit the ball well using the pendulum motion.

Since it's an unlimited access plan, I make time to go almost every day.

This studio is run by Coach Moriyama Ren, famous for his "right-hand technique."

* About Lessons/Coaches:
Lessons are offered individually and in groups. Even in group lessons, the instruction is thorough and attentive, not rushed. Coach Moriyama and all the other coaches are dedicated to addressing your concerns and challenges, and they teach in an easy-to-understand way. They teach using a fundamental approach of "thinking and feeling with the club at the center," making it especially recommended for those who tend to get lost in their swing.

* About the Environment:
The studio has everything you need: a driving range with 3+1 bays (one of which is equipped with TrackMan), a 15-yard approach practice area, a putting practice area, and various training equipment. While there aren't cameras other than the TrackMan, the coaches will record videos and show them to you, so it's not a major issue. In fact, I personally prefer this setup because it allows you to focus on feel rather than just form.

* About Training Equipment:
They have a full range of commonly seen training equipment. In fact, they have a huge selection of things you've never seen before, and even some that are hard to understand. It's rare to find a place with such a variety! I think you can probably use it if you ask.

* Regarding the price:
Considering the market rate, it might seem a little expensive, but the content is well worth the price. I might get scolded by the staff, but it's like, if you're going to another place for a year, you could do it here in 3 months.

* Other:
It seems the concept is not just about teaching and improving your skills, but about enjoying the entire golf culture, so it's easy to fit in whether you're playing for fun or seriously. I haven't participated yet, but they seem to hold various events, so I'm hoping to make some new golf friends.

Instead of kinematics, you can take lessons that focus on letting the club do the work, including techniques like pulling back, hitting with a stick, and actively using your right hand.
There are four hitting bays: one for one-on-one lessons using TrackMan, two using GOLFZON, and the remaining one is currently for practice.
It's great to be able to practice putting and chipping indoors at your own pace.
They also have equipment for physical training, so you can do strength training and stretching.
You can use various training tools, including the familiar impact bag, ropes, resistance bands, stretch poles, and weights, to train your sense of letting the club do the work.
